NHL: Minnesota 3, Los Angeles 2 (OT)
Los Angeles -- Brent Burns scored a power-play goal 2:50 into overtime Saturday, handing the Minnesota Wild a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
With Drew Doughty off on an interference call, the Wild went on a 4-on-3 power play. Patrick O'Sullivan got the puck behind the net and whipped a pass to Burns in the high slot, who fired a shot past Jonathan Quick for the game-winner.
Cal Clutterbuck and Mikko Koivu got the other goals for Minnesota and Jose Theodore stopped 24-of-26 shots in a physical, penalty-filled game.
Dustin Brown and Ryan Smith got the markers for the Kings, who lost for the first time on a four-game home stand.
Quick turned aside 18-of-21 shots in the setback.
