Ingram won the Heisman Trophy last season as a sophomore but surgery on his left knee kept him from games this year -- both wins -- against San Jose State and Penn State.
Alabama Coach Nick Saban said Wednesday that Ingram has been practicing and making good cuts and would be in the lineup Saturday when the Crimson Tide plays at Duke (1-1).
Sophomore Trent Richardson has filled in for Ingram as the starter at running back and has rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns in two games.
Last season Ingram rushed for a school-record 1,658 yards scored a total of 20 touchdowns rushing and receiving.
