Beverly Hills, Calif., Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail and 90 days of in-patient rehabilitation for violating probation at the hearing.
Revel said Lohan failed to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes, thereby violating her probation in a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.
The New York Daily News published online Wednesday a close-up of Lohan's hand, which clearly shows the words "F--- U" scrawled on one nail.
"I'm not taking this as a joke, it's my life and it's my career and it's something I have worked for my entire life," the News quoted Lohan as saying during the hearing. "I don't want you to think I don't respect you and your terms."
Lohan, 24, is best known for her roles in the movies "Mean Girls," "Freaky Friday" and "The Parent Trap."
She is scheduled to surrender July 20 to begin serving her sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.
However, Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told the Los Angeles Times Tuesday women sent to jail for non-violent crimes typically serve 25 percent or less of their sentences because of overcrowding in the prison system.

Bahahahaha-you deserve every
Bahahahaha-you deserve every day you were sentenced you spoiled little brat! Too bad the prison system is overcrowded because you really need to experience every single one of those 90 days to make you realize that you don't get to behave irresponsibly and get away with it. You're lucky you haven't killed someone drinking, doing drugs and driving!
