MTV programming President Tony DiSanto said each episode of "If You Really Knew Me" will feature students at a different high school taking part in challenges based on biases typically associated with teenage cliques, Variety.com reported Friday.
The series, which will feature Arnold Shapiro and Angie Day as executive producers, will premiere during this year's fourth quarter.
MTV also announced it will air a second season of "Teen Mom," a reality series about teenage mothers struggling with their responsibilities.
DiSanto said both "If You Really Knew Me" and "Teen Mom," which is tentatively scheduled for a summer premiere, offer insights into modern teenage life.
"Both series share an unfiltered and unique look at different aspects of teen life and the transition to adulthood," he said.
