COL BKB: San Francisco 81, Gonzaga 77 (OT)

San Francisco -- Rashad Green's key 3-point play Saturday helped San Francisco secure an 81-77 West Coast Conference upset in overtime over eighth-ranked Gonzaga.

His layup and free throw gave USF a 79-75 lead with 23 seconds left in the extra period.

Dior Lowhorn's 3-pointer tied the game 67-67 with 9 seconds left in regulation, and in the extra 5 minutes, the Dons outscored Gonzaga 14-10.

Lowhorn led USF with 22 points, sinking five 3-pointers, two in overtime, and nine rebounds.

Green scored 15 with four rebounds, while Angelo Caloiaro and Moustapha Diarra scored 11 points each for the Dons (8-14, 2-8), who overcame a 33-26 halftime deficit to snap a three-game losing streak.

Elias Harris paced Gonzaga with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Matt Bouldin scored 15 with 11 rebounds and seven assists, and Robert Sacre added 13 for the Bulldogs (17-4, 6-1), who had their nine-game winning streak snapped.

They also had won nine in a row against the Dons.

Gonzaga sank just 22-of-35 free throws
