NBA: Chicago 108, New Orleans 106 (OT)

New Orleans -- Brad Miller gave Chicago a four-point lead with a minute left in overtime Friday and the Bulls held on to defeat New Orleans 108-106.

Luol Deng forced the extra period for Chicago by hitting a shot with 1 second remaining in regulation and the Bulls then capitalized on an injury to Chris Paul in the overtime.

Paul, who leads New Orleans with an average of 20 points a game, hurt his left knee while trying to chase down a pass from David West. Paul left the game and his replacement, Darren Collison, eventually missed a shot to tie it just before the overtime buzzer.

Deng scored 26 points to lead the Bulls, who won their fifth straight. Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah both had 18.

West delivered 29 points and 14 rebounds to pace the Hornets, who had won their previous two.
