The Warriors, given a chance for a rare win, took advantage of it against a team that appears headed for the worst record in NBA history.
New Jersey, winners of just three games this season, lost its 10th in a row.
Golden State picked up its 13th victory, four more than Minnesota and one fewer than Washington.
The Warriors led by only six going into the second half, but outscored the Nets by 17 in the third period. Curry had 13 of his 31 in the third frame and Maggette produced 10 of his 29.
Golden State scored the final 12 points of the quarter.
New Jersey managed only 35 points in the second half. The Nets were led by Brook Lopez with 21.
