NHL: Dallas 4, Edmonton 3

Edmonton, Alberta -- James Neal capped a wild finish by scoring with 23 seconds remaining Friday, giving the Dallas Stars a 4-3 victory over Edmonton.

The Oilers lost their 10th consecutive contest and Dallas halted a road losing streak that had reached 10 games.

It appeared Edmonton would have a chance to win it in overtime when Sam Gagner beat Marty Turco to forge a 3-3 tie with 1:02 to play in the third. Neal, however, bested Devan Dubnyk with a wrist shot that gave Dallas its eighth road win in 27 tries.

Turco made 32 saves and won for only the second time in January. He has a 2-5 record this month and has recently been replaced in goal by Alex Auld.

Dubnyk stopped 26 shots and is winless in six appearances for the season.
