The Royal Mail said in a release its stamp program announced Thursday includes first-class stamps made to appear like album covers such as Coldplay's "A Rush of Blood to the Head" with an image of a record even peeking out along the edge of the stamps.
The Guardian said other featured album covers include David Bowie's "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars," Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells," the Clash's "London Calling," the Rolling Stones' "Let It Bleed" and Led Zeppelin's "IV."
Also include are New Order's "Power, Corruption and Lies," Primal Scream's "Screamadelica," Pink Floyd's "The Division Bell" and Blur's "Parklife."
Coldplay said on its Web site that band members approved of the honorary stamp.
"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the band said. "Very nice they are too."
