Enderle's fourth touchdown pass of the game, a 16-yarder to Max Komar, drew Idaho within 42-41 with 4 seconds left before his conversion pass to Preston Davis capped an improbable 3-play, 66-yard drive in 28 seconds.
Enderle passed for 240 yards without an interception.
DeMaundray Woolridge scored twice on 23 carries for 135 yards, while Davis scored once on four receptions for 119 yards for the long downtrodden Vandals (7-5), who had just three wins in two seasons prior to the 2009 campaign.
Bowling Green's Freddie Barnes scored three times on 17 receptions for 219 yards, setting an NCAA single-season record with 155 catches. His touchdown catch on a 32-yard pass from Tyler Sheehan had given BGSU a 42-35 lead with 32 seconds left.
Sheehan passed for four touchdowns and 387 yards for the Falcons (7-6), whose four-game winning streak ended.
