NBA: Phoenix 124, Los Angeles Clippers 93

Phoenix -- Amare Stoudemire scored 26 points Friday and Phoenix broke the game open in the third quarter en route to a 124-93 whipping of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Phoenix ended a two-game skid, both of the losses coming at home. The two setbacks came on the heels of 19 consecutive home victories.

Stoudemire made 10-of-15 shots from the field and 6-of-7 from the line. He sat out most of the fourth period after the Suns built a 24-point advantage going into the final quarter.

Phoenix owned a 12-point cushion early in the third period before going on an eight-point run. The Suns finished off the romp by limiting the Clippers to 14 points in the fourth.

Jason Richardson and Jared Dudley both had 18 for the Suns, who made 12-of-24 from 3-point range.

The Clippers, losers of three in a row, got 22 points from Rasual Butler.
