NBA: Boston 86, Orlando 77

Orlando -- Ray Allen had 18 points and six rebounds Friday, leading the Boston Celtics to their third straight victory, an 86-77 win over Orlando.

With both teams shooting poorly and the Magic being held to a season-low eight points in the second quarter, Boston's halftime lead was just 38-27. Orlando clawed back, coming within 78-75 on a 3-pointer by Rashard Lewis with 1:01 left in the game.

Rajon Rondo scored 17 with 13 rebounds and four assists, Tony Allen scored 16 with four rebounds, Rasheed Wallace had 11 points with seven rebounds, and Kevin Garnett added 10 points and seven rebounds before he sustained a back injury and fell to the floor while attempting to block a fourth-quarter shot by Vince Carter.

Carter's 27 points, five rebounds and four steals led Orlando. Lewis scored 19 with three rebounds for the Magic, whose three-game win streak ended.

Orlando's Dwight Howard scored just five points but compiled 20 rebounds.
