Corn was up 11 1/4 to up 12, Soybeans were up 5 3/4 to up 8, wheat was unchanged to up 1 1/2 and oats were up 2 to up 3.
Corn softened during the trading day, pressured by a higher dollar and forecasts for drier weather, allowing farmers to resume the harvest. The December contract expires at noon Monday. Soybeans rallied in the early afternoon, following a lower start on the day, after the USDA announced the sale of 232,000 tons of beans to China for 2009-10 delivery. Rain was in the forecast for Argentine soybean growing areas but Brazil remains dry. Wheat fell in the early trading on dollar pressures but rallied in the early afternoon after selling dried up.
