Wall scored 12 points during the final 7:30 and his 3-point play with 30.8 seconds to play was the difference.

Kentucky improved to 9-0, with Wall scoring 25 points and claiming six steals.

Connecticut (6-2) missed a chance to tie it when Gavin Edwards misfired on a 3-point try with 4 seconds to go. Kemba Walker missed another one at the buzzer.

Kentucky owns back-to-back wins over two of the top 12 teams in the country -- North Carolina and Connecticut.

The Huskies were led by Jerome Dyson with 17 points. Both of Connecticut's losses this season have come in Madison Square Garden. The Huskies lost to Duke in the finals of the NIT Season Tip-Off last month.
