NBA: Milwaukee 95, Charlotte 88

Milwaukee -- Rookie sensation Brandon Jennings scored 29 points Friday to help Milwaukee open a big lead and the Bucks held on to down Charlotte 95-88.

Jennings made 12-of-23 shots from the field in another outstanding game. It came a week after he became the youngest player in NBA history to score 50 points in a contest. He totaled 55 against Golden State and added to his early bid to claim rookie-of-the-year honors.

Hakim Warrick added 16 points for the Bucks, who have won six of their last seven and trail Cleveland by only a half game in the Central Division.

Charlotte lost its seventh straight and is 0-7 this season on the road. The Bobcats were paced by Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace with 22 each.

Milwaukee took a 16-point lead into the fourth quarter and survived despite scoring only 19 points in the final period.
