NBA: New York 110, Indiana 103

Indianapolis -- Al Harrington scored 26 points Wednesday and the New York Knicks staged a fourth-quarter rally for a surprising 110-103 victory over Indiana.

The Knicks had lost six in a row coming into the contest and Indiana had won five straight. New York had won just one game all season and had not beaten any team from the Eastern Conference, so when the Pacers opened a 15-point lead at halftime there was little expectation the Knicks could come back.

The Indiana lead was still 10 entering the fourth period but New York outscored the Pacers in the final period 34-17.

Larry Hughes added 22 points for the Knicks, who won for the first time since downing New Orleans Nov. 2. New York's bench players outscored those from Indiana 65-22.

Danny Granger paced Indiana with 33 points and Dahntay Jones had 25.

New York's fourth-quarter comeback was keyed by a 23-3 run. Harrington scored 10 points during the surge.
