NBA: Boston 109, Golden State 95

Boston -- Rajon Rondo scored five straight points during a 12-0 run in the third period Wednesday, sparking the Boston Celtics to a 109-95 win over Golden State.

Boston held only a one-point lead at halftime, and then broke the game open in the third period by holding the Warriors scoreless for a 4 1/2-minute stretch.

Paul Pierce led the Celtics in scoring with 19, Rondo had 18 and both Kendrick Perkins and Ray Allen had 15. Boston halted a two-game losing streak.

Corey Maggette had 23 for Golden State.

Boston shot 52.5 percent from the field but made only 17-of-27 foul shots.

The Warriors lost their third in a row and have won on the road just once this season in seven outings.
