NHL: Chicago 3, Toronto 2

Chicgo -- Troy Brouwer gave Chicago a three-goal lead early in the second period Friday and the Blackhawks held on to defeat Toronto 3-2

Chicago won its sixth straight home game, getting a 29-save effort from Cristobal Huet.

Brouwer scored on the power play 5:31 into the second for a 3-0 advantage, after which Phil Kessel produced two goals to give the Maple Leafs a chance at victory.
Kessel's second goal came with 14:27 to play, but Huet was perfect the rest of the way while winning for the eighth time in 13 decisions this season.

Toronto lost its second straight after picking up at least one point in its previous seven contests.
