NBA: Miami 90, Washington 76

Miami -- The Miami Heat used 41 points from Dwyane Wade Tuesday to down the Washington Wizards 90-76, raising their record to 6-1.

The 6-1 start is the best for the Heat since the 1999-2000 season, thanks mainly to Wade, who also scored 40 against the Wizards Nov. 4 in Washington.

Michael Beasley chipped in 15 points for Miami, which has won six straight against the Wizards and holds a 21-5 mark against them over the last 26 contests.

Washington was led by Gilbert Arenas with 21 points and eight assists. Caron Butler contributed 19 points and pulled down seven boards as the Wizards turned the ball over 22 times.

Wade and Beasley really turned it on in the third quarter to put the game away, combining to score 21 of the Heat's 24 points during one stretch of the period.
