Each has been honored with a Gold Glove every year since 2001. Joining Suzuki and Hunter this year was Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones, who won his first Gold Glove.
National League winners will be announced Wednesday.
Others in the AL winning the honor were Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira, Tigers second baseman Placido Polanco, Rays third baseman Evan Longoria and New York shortstop Derek Jeter, who has won his fourth Gold Glove.
Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer won his second straight Gold Glove; Chicago starting pitcher Mark Buehrle won his first.
Winners of the honor are voted on by managers and coaches in each league.
