The Frida star was alleged to have lost her temper earlier this week (ends04Sep09) after restaurant staff at the Chateau Marmont informed her there was no available space to accommodate her dinner party.
RadarOnline.com claimed the Latin beauty "freaked out" and "created a scene, yelling (in) Spanish".
But Hayek's representative has denied the claims, dismissing the article as "not true".
The spokesperson insists the star's family and friends were already seated in the restaurant and Hayek was shown to the table to join the party without any fuss.
