Glassman, 22, said while she and Gosselin have received significant media attention since he split from his wife Kate, she did not begin a relationship with the 32-year-old man to garner attention, E! Online reported Friday.
"I'm not some fame whore," said Glassman, who was rumored to have had a relationship with Gosselin while the reality TV star was still with his family.
"Take my 15 minutes, you can have it back. Please take it back!"
Glassman told E! Online her relationship with Gosselin was not to blame for him leaving his wife and eight children, including the former celebrity couple's sextuplets.
"Jon and Kate have moved on with their lives -- it's only the viewers who haven't moved on," Glassman said.
"I want people to know the truth. Right now I'm speaking from my heart, myself.
I'm not some celebrity, I'm not some famous person -- I'm just a 22-year-old girl who got caught in the middle of all this," she added to E! Online.
