Camaro sales will be "right with Mustang," company spokesman Terry Rhadigan said. In May, GM sold 5,463 Camaros, partly in response to the Camaro's appearance in the feature movie "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," USA Today reported Monday.
"I just saw the 2010 Camaro when I saw the 'Transformers' movie and it is a hot car," Mariscia Thompson of Newberry, S.C., told the newspaper.
In May, Ford sold 8,812 Mustangs.
The hot-selling Camaro is a welcome surprise for GM as it pushes through federal bankruptcy court.
"Our current production schedule can't meet the demand, (however) that supply-demand tension is good," Rhadigan said.

year end sales
Well, the proof is in the pudding. Ford still sold more Mustangs than chev sold Camaros. Although I'm a fan of both, I still think the Camaro front headlight area could use some work for a better retro take.
