Tanasugarn repeats as Ordina Open champ

'S-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands -- Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn won the women's Ordina Open Saturday at 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, beating Belgium's Yanina Wickmayer 6-3, 7-5.

The unseeded Tanasugarn successfully defended her 2008 title, winning her fifth career title in seven finals on a grass court surface. She had beaten world No. 1 and top-seeded Dinara Safina in Friday's semifinals.

"It was a tough match," the 32-year-old Tanasugarn said. "I'm happy I held on to win. Yanina did a good job running me around. Last year it was a great experience to win here and I'm so proud I could do it again. I love playing here."

Wickmayer, 19, was playing in her third career final (1-2).

Her lone title came at the clay-court Estoril (Portugal) Open last month.
