Garrison was recently released from prison on parole after serving a 40-month sentence for a 2006 drunken driving incident that left one teen and two others injured.
"Contrary to what has been reported elsewhere, Kristin Chenoweth and Lane Garrison have not rekindled a relationship, nor was there any pen pal correspondence throughout his incarceration," Chenoweth's publicist told People magazine.
People.com did not say when or for how long Chenoweth and Garrison had previously dated.
