MLB: Oakland 4, Minnesota 3

Oakland, Calif. -- Josh Outman went six strong innings and Jack Cust had a solo home run Monday to lead the Oakland Athletics to a 4-3 win over Minnesota.

Outman (4-0) got the victory, allowing three runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and two walks for the A's, who have won a season-best seven straight games.

was perfect in the ninth to get his fifth save.

Jack Hannahan stroked a three-run double for the A's.

Twins' starter Anthony Swarzak went 3 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on four hits.

Losing pitcher Luis Ayala (1-2) gave up the home run to Cust in the Twins' third straight loss.

Matt Tolbert had two RBI for Minnesota.
