Coffee fan 'Starbucking' through Britain

London -- A California man on a quest to visit every Starbucks in the world said he is coffee-drinking his way through Britain this week.

Rafael Antonio Lozano Jr., who changed his name to Winter said he started his project in 1997 and has so far had a cup of coffee at about 9,100 Starbucks locations, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

Winter, 37, said he is currently in Britain to visit 400 locations in England, Scotland and Wales. He said he will continue his "Starbucking" in Spain, Portugal and Germany.

The coffee aficionado said in each cafe, he orders a cup of regular brewed coffee, takes a picture and posts it to starbuckseverywhere.com.

He estimated that he has about 3,000 Starbucks shops left to visit.

"There's huge uncertainty for me, as Starbucks does not announce which stores are shutting. I am highly motivated to get to them," he said. "In this world it is difficult to do something unique -- I just have found the whole process a great deal of fun."
