Juan Rivera had three hits and two RBI. Kendry Morales added two RBI and his sacrifice fly snapped a 4-4 tie with one out in the top of the sixth inning.
Robb Quinlan and Erick Aybar had an RBI apiece, while Bobby Abreu added two runs for the Angels, who have won three of four.
The winner was reliever Jason Bulger (1-1).
Jamie Hoffman knocked in four runs for the Dodgers with a three-run homer in the first and an eighth-inning RBI double. James Loney drove two runs.
Casey Blake had three hits and one RBI for the National League West-leading Dodgers, who have split their last four contests.
The losing pitcher, despite six strikeouts in six innings, was starter Chad Billingsley (6-2).
