MLB: Colorado 3, Detroit 1

Detroit -- Todd Helton's two hits and two RBI Sunday led the Colorado Rockies to a 3-1 victory against the Detroit Tigers.

His RBI single snapped a 1-1 tie with two outs in the top of the seventh.
Earlier, he hit a fifth-inning RBI double.

Matt Murton hit a seventh RBI double and Dexter Fowler had a run and two hits for the Rockies, who won the final two contests in the three-game interleague series at Detroit's Comerica Park.

Winner Jason Hammel (3-1) gave up an earned run six hits in six innings.

Closer Huston Street recorded his seventh save with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Detroit scored on Dane Sardinha's second-inning single.

Magglio Ordonez had a run and two of the six hits for the Tigers, who have lost two in a row following their season-high seven-game winning streak.

Losing pitcher Dontrelle Willis (1-1) gave up three earned runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings with four walks and four strikeouts.

Detroit Tigers

Detroit Tigers should be always competitive enough to keep pace with the others. I really like them; they’ve always been my favourite teams in MLB. Just read about them here:
