Saunders (6-2), who allowed a season-high seven runs in his previous outing, threw 101 pitches while giving up four hits over seven innings. Scot Shields worked the eighth and Brian Fuentes came in for the ninth to earn his 11th save.
The Angels won three games in the four-game series.
All of the Los Angeles runs came on solo homers -- from Juan Rivera in the first, Gary Matthews in the third and Howie Kendrick in the eighth.
The first two home runs were hit off starter Erik Bedard (2-2), who lasted five innings. The two homers he allowed were the only hits he surrendered.
Seattle failed in its bid to win back-to-back games for the first time since a three-game streak from April 23-25.
