MLB: Chicago Cubs 6, San Diego 2

Chicago -- Alfonso Soriano had three hits, two of them doubles, and two RBI Tuesday to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 6-2 victory over the San Diego Padres.

Kosuke Fukudome also had three hits, including two doubles, and Milton Bradley hit a two-run homer for Chicago. The Cubs scored all six of their runs from the fifth inning on. Bobby Scales of Chicago had his first career homer.

Rich Harden (4-1) got the win after allowing the Padres two runs on four hits over six innings.

Jake Peavy (2-5) was the loser, giving up three runs on six hits in six innings. Peavy, who struck out nine, has four straight loses.

Adrian Gonzalez hit a two-run homer for the Padres, who have lost four in a row.
