Corn was up 2 3/4, soybeans were off 7 3/4 to off 15 1/4, wheat was up 2 1/2 to up 2 3/4 and oats were off 1/2 to off 3/4.
Corn prices closed slightly higher as much of the corn belt was hit with heavy rains. Wheat prices rose as the U.S. Department of Agriculture said conditions improved in the southern Plains. Soybeans fell, although planting was delayed by rains in many areas.

Corn: May 3.75, up 2 3/4; Jul 3.83 1/2, up 2 3/4; Sep 3.92, up 2 3/4; Dec 4.04 1/4, up 2 3/4.
Soybeans: May 9.89 1/2, off 15 1/4; Jul 9.83, off 14; Aug 9.64 1/2, off 11 1/4; Sep 9.31, off 7 3/4.
Wheat: May 5.10 1/2, up 2 1/2; Jul 5.22, up 2 1/2; Sep 5.49, up 2 1/2; Dec 5.71 1/4, up 2 3/4.
Oats: May 1.86 1/4, off 3/4; Jul 1.95 1/2, off 1/2; Sep 2.04 1/2, off 1/2; Dec 2.18 1/2, off 1/2.
