Crude oil prices rise

New York -- Crude oil prices rose on the New York Mercantile Exchange Friday as stock markets looked poised to complete a sixth consecutive week of gains.

Crude oil prices gained $1.34 overnight to $51.32 per barrel. Heating oil prices gained 0.0299 cents to $1.4517 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline rose 0.0503 cents to $1.5246 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.012 cents to $3.587 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline was unchanged Friday, holding steady at Thursday's price of $2.052 a gallon, AAA said.
