Inside iPhone 5S, Apple has used a 64bit architecture, which makes it the only device to use 64bit architecture.

The 64bit allows the usage of more variables and comes in play mostly when you upgrade your ROM above 4Gb. It also requires application to be compatible with 64bit architecture because currently 32bit architecture is used.

Samsung

Not more than a day after release of iPhone, Samsung promised 64bit architecture in upcoming Smartphones in the near future. The best part is Samsung might not know what it is trying to do by just copying. If Android has to run it then Samsung has to wait for Google to release 64bit operating system, and to release the apps compatible with it, which might take more than a year.

Besides, what will Samsung do with 64bit architecture? It's not that Samsung phone uses ROM more than 4Gb!! Well, Samsung has 3Gb of ROM in Galaxy Note 3 which takes a huge battery life. India’s position is dicey and has much to experiment.

It is presently planning to start a pilot project to drive commercial banks to buy gold from ordinary citizens. Eventually, the purpose is to divert it to the expensive metal refiners. With this, there would be less to import and more of a relief for the rupee.

It has been known from sources that the pilot project will begin very soon. The Reserve Bank of India has fleshed out the details by saying that the current account deficit of India is treading to touch the turf of $90bn. Of course, this aspect has had a great role to play in the record-breaking low value of rupee. Though, nothing has been commented by the RBI’s spokesman on the project.

According to the sources, the banks in the pilot project would be specified a regulatory directive to buy the gold from individual households. However, this stance would be restricted to those banks that carry good gold portfolios.

But still there is some dilemma over the productivity of the project but it seems some radical steps have to be taken to calm the markets. Considering the fact that there is 31,000 tonnes of commercially accessible gold in the country and RBI carries 557.7 tonnes of gold in its own reserves, there can be much to experiment with. Because, according to experts, even a little diversion of money to refiners would reduce the burden on domestic markets.

Under the pilot project, the RBI will ask the banks to buy jewelry, bars and coins for rupees. The rates have to be tempting and much better than the regular jewelry shops. One of the sources has unveiled that the pilot project will start very soon and frequent conversations with commercial banks is under process.

According to David Gornall, chairman of the London Bullion Market Association, who was quoted by the Hindu, India can witness a surge of $23bn by swapping gold for a payable currency for a period of its choice. It can still remain the long-term holder of the gold.

Let’s now come back to what Anand Sharma said about gold. He explained, "I have not said there should be any mortgaging of the gold, or auction of the gold, that is incorrect. I have just said the RBI should look into … how they can benefit the people, particularly with regard to the bonds or the monetization.” Here we have the answer from an intellectual who has been pondering over the issue for a long time.

As the Indian currency has been the worst-performing emerging market currency in Asia, the RBI’s bag needs to carry some smart options to bring some change. Marc Faber, who is the Managing director of Marc Faber Limited, went on to call the Government policies a “disaster”.

He stated exuberantly "Over the long term, I am negative about the rupee. Reports confirm that unrealistic and exaggerated expectations have been focused on the Indian markets. What about Indian’s Macro economy? It may be struggling as compared to China but there have been a number of Indian companies that are benefitting in this scenario as well. The only hitches here are the government policies.

Faber commented “The government in India, through its incredible bureaucracy, has retarded economic growth in the last 20-30 years by at least 3% per annum in real terms. It's a miracle that the Indian economy has performed well, considering the quality of its government.”

According to him, there is an under reporting of the rate of increase in inflation and cost of living. This lack of appropriate measurement of the inflation has led to the interest rates being calculated in negative terms.

The way out

Categorically, Faber insisted that the best way out for the government is to get strict stating “though it can be painful, it should increase rates substantially, stabilize the rupee. To increase rates would imply a lot of pain in the economy temporarily, but in the long term, it would be desirable.” He called the plunging rupee a symptom of excessive consumption and poor budget balance. The depreciation of the rupee shows brightly in the current account deficit and flailing trade.

Talking about the India’s ratings downgrade, he gave his verdict “It is quite likely. In this world of fraud a stolen credit card number is five times less worth than a fake Instagram fan.

Hackers have gone extremely ahead in trying to create and sell false endorsements such as a simple "likes" and "followers" using their computer skills considering the influence the social networking sites and media have in shaping reputations.

Users of Social media such as Facebook, photo sharing app Instagram, Tweets on Twitter, Google's YouTube, LinkedIn and many other sites design the false likes and the followers as part of altered reputations.

Zeus-the latest credit card data stealing virus:
According to the Cyber experts at RSA, the security division of EMC Corp, the latest cyber world news, Zeus-the credit card data stealing virus has been very indigenously modified to create fake Instagram "likes" that can create a massive buzz not only among individuals but also for a company.

In batches of 1000 on Internet hacker forums, there bogus "likes" are sold where the credit card data and other information is also stolen from the PCs. The fake "followers" can be purchased for $15 where as "likes" for $30 and the credit card data and numbers for a meagre amount of $6, according to the experts at RSA.

Isn't this a little out of the usual where the real credit card numbers and other security information of then user is less worthy than the fake social media accounts? However, according to the online cyber experts if the people are ready to splurge on the Internet for their own personal gain or for the gain of their business, then such a business proposition is definitely a good deal to popularise your new product in the Internet world.

Victor Pan, a senior data analyst with WordStream said, "People perceive importance on what is trending, It is the bandwagon effect." which advises companies on online marketing.

Facebook currently has nearly 1.2 billion users is in the process to increase the security on Instagram as well. Last year, Facebook bought the 130 million active user photo sharing app Instagram for $1 billion and promises to have the same security measures that Facebook currently has, said spokesman Michael Kirkland.

Not only will the security of Instagram be improved within Instagram but also malicious and suspicious activity through Facebook sites and links can be reported, he said encouraging the users.

"We work hard to limit spam on our service and prohibit the creation of accounts through unauthorized or automated means," Michael Kirkland said.

Modified Zeus-first piece of malicious software:
The Zeus software which has been recently modified is the first of its kind to post false and bogus "likes" on various social networking sites according to the cyber experts dealing with cyber crime.

"Likes" from the automated software programs can easily be manipulated by the cyber hackers all across the world. The modified version of the Zeus virus controls the computers from further infection from the central working server by manipulating the users to post "likes".

According to the cyber experts at RSA, the users can also be given orders to get involved in specific operations or download some other kinds of suspicious malicious software. This is not the first time cyber hackers have used Zeus to infect hundreds of millions of PCs, it was previously also done 5 years ago when the virus first came into existence, said Don Jackson, a senior security researcher with Dell SecureWorks.

The increasing sophistication of the hackers trying to profit from the trend of the virus targeting the photo sharing app Instagram is a sign of rising importance of social media in marketing.

Buying Bogus social networking traffic has become a trend which is also supported by the Online Marketing consultant Will Mitchell, who advises clients to buy the traffic to make a mark of their own in the Online world.

Will Mitchell replied when asked about the ethics of faking endorsements, "It's fine to do for the first 100, but I always advise stopping after that." Giving an example of a client who bought more than 300,000 "likes" on Facebook against his advice completely destroyed the client's reputation. "It was just ridiculous,Everybody knew what they were doing", he said.

Computer security expert Chris Grier, a University of California at Berkeley research scientist who spent a year working on a team that investigated fake accounts on Twitter said, "The accounts are always just a means to an end. The criminals are always looking to profit".

However, the cyber experts still say that manipulative schemes of influencing social networks are unlikely to take a fall soon. Soon identity thefts can be created using the fake social media accounts rather than the creation of the fake "likes".

A fake fan on Instagram in the world of cyber fraud, can be worth five times more than a stolen credit card number.

a senior data analyst with WordStream a senior security researcher with Dell SecureWorks.
