Window display slammed as obscene

London -- A window display at a London shopping center is drawing numerous complaints comparing it to pornography and accusing it of objectifying women.

The 8-foot window display at Suit Supply in the Westfield shopping center features images of a man sitting next to a woman while she touches her naked breast, a driving man groping a female passenger and a man lifting a reclining woman's dress to look at her underwear, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

The pictures, part of the store's "Shameless" advertising campaign, have been the subject of numerous complaints to Westfield managers and the Advertising Standards Authority. Complaints have also been posted on the Mumsnet Web site and Twitter.

Teacher fired for napping in class

Sandusky, Ohio -- An Ohio school board voted to fire a high school teacher accused of napping during class and discussing pornography with a freshman class.

The Perkins Schools Board of Education voted Wednesday to fire Perkins High School teacher Carol Smith, 71, after a hearing officer found her conduct "totally unprofessional, inappropriate, unsafe, outrageous, flagrant and persistent and threatened the safety, security and welfare of the students," the Sandusky (Ohio) Register reported Thursday.

Smith, who was suspended without pay in April after she was accused of discussing pornographic magazines in a freshman history class, was found by the investigation to have frequently arrived late and slept during classes.

Worker finds nude man at desk

Oklahoma City -- Police in Oklahoma said a man returned from his lunch break to discover a naked man sitting at his desk and viewing pornography on his computer.

Oklahoma City police said the worker told police he did not know Thursday's nude intruder and the man was not a co-worker at the business in the 3900 block of NW 10, The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, reported Wednesday.

The employee told police he asked the man what he was doing at his desk and the suspect said he was "cleaning and trying to make some money."

Curtis John Halberstadt, 57, was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and public indecency. He was jailed in lieu of $2,000 bail.
