'Legally Blonde' actress Reese Witherspoon has got engaged to Hollywood agent Jim Toth, a spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

Joanna Garcia, Nick Swisher marry in Fla.

Palm Beach, Fla. -- Celebrities from the sports and the entertainment worlds were in Florida for the wedding of actress Joanna Garcia and Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher.

The couple tied the knot in Palm Beach and then celebrated at the upscale Breakers Hotel with well-wishers that included Cameron Diaz, Reba McEntire, Johnny Damon and Alex Rodriguez.

People said Sunday that Garcia, star of ABC's "Better with You," wore an ivory strapless ball gown created by Monique Lhuillier. Swisher's Burberry tux did not appear to be pinstriped.

Police: Fake bomb reported to stop wedding

Moscow -- Russian police said they arrested a woman who tried to prevent her daughter's wedding by falsely accusing her of plotting to blow up a plane.

Investigators said the 56-year-old Yaroslavl woman was arrested after allegedly calling police and claiming her daughter was planning a suicide bomb attack on a plane traveling from Moscow's Domodedovo Airport to Morocco, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday.

The flight was delayed for an unspecified amount of time while officers investigated.

"Her daughter recently fell in love with a Moroccan citizen and was planning to get married to him and move to Morocco. The woman was against the marriage and did not want her daughter to move abroad," a police spokeswoman said.

NBC to air 'William & Kate' special

New York -- NBC says it plans to air "Will & Kate: A Royal Love Story" in honor of British Prince William's recent engagement to Kate Middleton.

The couple are to marry in London next spring or summer, royal officials said Tuesday.

NBC's hourlong "Dateline" special is set for broadcast Wednesday.

The program will take a special look at how the couple met, what drew them to each other and what their modern-day marriage will mean for the British monarchy. It includes interviews with longtime friends and exclusive video of the future princess, NBC said in a news release Tuesday.

England's Prince William set to wed

London -- England's Prince William proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton last month in Kenya, paving the way for a 2011 wedding, royal officials said.

"The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton. The wedding will take place in the Spring or Summer of 2011, in London. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course," Clarence House said in a statement Tuesday.

Ill. man makes White Castle hall of fame

Oak Park, Ill. -- An Illinois man who gave out White Castle burgers at his wedding is being inducted into the restaurant chain's hall of fame.

Dale Bemis, 33, of Oak Park, said he submitted a short essay to the chain's Web site explaining how his father instilled him with a love of sliders with extra pickles and he bonded with his then-girlfriend over the same food, the Chicago Southtownstar reported Monday.

Bemis said he and his wife gave White Castle sliders to guests as they left their wedding. A picture of the couple in their wedding garb with a White Castle case was submitted along with the essay.

Three 10s in date equal 33,000 weddings

Newark, N.J. -- Sunday is a 10 for couples, who are marrying by the thousands on the auspicious, and easily remembered, date of 10/10/10.

More than American 32,000 couples are scheduled to marry on this date, said theweddingchannel.com and theknot.com, two wedding Web sites cited by The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J.

On Oct. 10 last year, only around 5,000 couples exchanged vows. Sunday has the most weddings scheduled since July 7, 2007, which saw roughly 54,000.

"We came to the realization that 10/10/10 would probably be the best," said Adam Polhemus, who is marrying Kristin Wallenstein in Holmdel, N.J. "It's definitely an anniversary I can't forget and screw up."

Knoxville and Nelson marry in LA

Los Angeles -- Johnny Knoxville's publicist says the actor and reality TV personality has married his longtime girlfriend Naomi Nelson in Los Angeles.

The "Jackass" star's representative confirmed the wedding took place Friday.
No other details about the ceremony were reported.

Knoxville and Nelson are the parents of a son born in December.
