Report: Perry buys $7.6M Georgia estate

Atlanta -- U.S. film and television mogul Tyler Perry has bought a 58-acre estate in Johns Creek, Ga., a real estate listing service says.

Perry is expected to have the 32,000-square-foot mansion on the property torn down to make way for a new house, but the newspaper said Perry's publicist did not respond to e-mails for comment.

The actor, writer, director and producer reportedly loved the estate's gardens and location along the Chattahoochee River.
