A unit of Johnson & Johnson has announced a voluntary recall of 43 over-the-counter children and infant medicines due to safety concerns, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed Saturday.

Over 40 formulations of over-the-counter kids medications have been recalled by the McNeil Consumer Healthcare, a sub division of Johnson & Johnson, in United States, Canada and 10 other countries, as they do not meet the required quality standards.
