All those expecting live tweets from the royal wedding will surely be disappointed, as Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding ceremony will be Twitter-free.

Cardiff, Wales, -- The U.S. and European Ryder Cup captains said Monday their players have won't be using Twitter and social networking Web sites during this week's tournament.

Soon after the U.S. team arrived in Cardiff, Wales, to begin preparations for this week's three-day tournament at the Celtic Manor resort, both U.S. captain Corey Pavin and European counterpart Colin Montgomerie said players posting Internet comments could cause "trouble," the BBC reported.

"Tweeting and social network sites can get one into trouble," Montgomerie said. "It's not a ban as such, we've just asked the players not to and they agreed."
