Atlanta, July 31: Jason Schmidt combined with three relievers on a three-hitter Friday and Andre Ethier drove in four runs, carrying the Los Angeles Dodgers past Atlanta 5-0.
After losing three games in a row for the first time all season, the Dodgers have bounced back with two straight wins.
Schmidt (2-1), trying to come back from two shoulder operations that have sidelined him most of the last three seasons, allowed only one hit through six innings. He walked five, however, and put two base runners on in three different frames.
