The Facebook post, titled "A Thanksgiving Message to All 57 states," was topped by President Barack Obama's one-time reference to there being 57 states in the union and includes YouTube links for all gaffes listed in the post.

Obama: China currency policy an 'irritant'

Seoul -- U.S. President Barack Obama took aim at China as the Group of 20 summit ended Friday, calling its undervalued currency "an irritant."

The president, speaking at a news conference in Seoul, suggested China bears much of the blame for global trade imbalances, The New York Times reported. He abandoned his usual cautious language on the subject and said China and other countries should not assume "their path to prosperity is paved simply with exports to the United States."

Police in Pennsylvania said a man who carried out a gunpoint robbery outside of a Subway sandwich shop had filled out a job application moments earlier.

West Homestead police said the man, whose name was not released, used his real name and address when he filled out an application at the restaurant only moments before carrying out an armed robbery outside the facility Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Wednesday.

Investigators said they went to the man's home and spoke with his mother, who told them he had taken a bus to Pittsburgh.

Man seeks Obama, Jesus restraining orders

Gaiesville -- A Florida court refused a man's request for restraining orders against President Barack Obama, former Gators quarterback Tim Tebow and Jesus Christ.

John Gilliand filed papers in Alachua County court last week claiming he felt threatened by the three famous figures and he made reference in the filings to the men being gang members or making gang symbols in his direction, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Tuesday.

"I was trespassed from the Kangaroo Gas Station on University for saying T-Bo sucks," Gilliand wrote in his petition for an injunction for protection against Tebow. "I personally hate any type of exercise although I feel Billy Blanks has a wonderful video."

Auto dealer chair rejects 60 mpg goal

Detroit -- The chairman of a national U.S. auto dealers association said the Obama administration's new fuel standards goals were too ambitious.

Speaking to an Automotive Press Association audience at the MGM Grand in Detroit, National Automobile Dealers Chairman Ed Tonkin said, "We would all like to believe consumers would be willing to pay whatever it takes to reach such a worthy goal.
But will they? Or is this another example of getting ahead of the consumer?"

The Obama administration is studying a proposal to have auto maker fleets reach an average fuel efficiency rating of 60 miles per gallon by 2025. The current goal for the industry is to obtain an average of 35.5 miles per gallon by 2016.

Obama set to appear on 'Daily Show'

New York -- U.S. President Barack Obama is to make his fifth appearance as a guest on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Comedy Central said Wednesday.

Obama's Oct. 27 visit will be his first since becoming commander-in-chief, however.

His last appearance on "The Daily Show" was Oct. 29, 2008, just days before he was elected president.

He has also appeared on April 21, 2008; Aug. 22, 2007 and Nov. 7, 2005.

Obama's appearance is scheduled during the series' week-long trip to Washington.

The special programs are intended to provide viewers with "Indecision 2010" coverage of the midterm elections, Comedy Central said.

Obama streaker says it was for $1M prize

Philadelphia-- A 24-year-old streaker says he ran naked at President Barack Obama's rally in Philadelphia in hopes of winning $1 million offered by a British billionaire.

Juan Rodriguez was arrested after his stunt at an outdoor Democratic Party rally Sunday evening.

British businessman Alki David, 42, promises the big cash prize to the first person who streaks in front of the president with his interactive reality TV channel and community Web site, Battlecam.com, written across his or her chest and shouting it six times within earshot and sight of Obama.

"This is the first time anybody has attempted it. I still don't know if he was successful. If he has done it, I'll pay him in cash," David told the New York Daily News.
