Denver -- Brandon Yip scored two goals for the Colorado Avalanche, which trailed early but stormed back with four straight goals Monday to rip the St. Louis Blues 5-2.

Glendale, Ariz. -- Matthew Lombardi scored two goals and provided three assists Monday, leading the Phoenix Coyotes to their seventh win in eight games, a 6-1 rout of Edmonton.

Toronto -- Ryane Clowe put San Jose ahead in the third period Monday and the Sharks hung on to edge Toronto 3-2, the Maple Leafs' eighth loss in 10 games.

Philadelphia -- The Philadelphia Flyers came from behind Monday with goals by James Van Riemsdyk, Jeff Carter and Mike Richards and beat the New Jersey Devils 3-2.

Montreal -- Tuukka Rask turned away 36 shots Sunday and the Boston Bruins ended a 10-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Washington -- Alex Ovechkin's hat trick and Mike Knuble's overtime goal Sunday carried Washington to its 14th straight win, a come-from-behind 5-4 decision over Pittsburgh.
