'Beavis and Butt-head' returning to MTV

New York -- New episodes of the animated 1990s series "Beavis and Butt-head" are in the works, sources at MTV told the New York Post.

The show featured two crudely drawn teen slackers who criticize the music videos the network showed. Both characters were voiced by creator Mike Judge.

The Post said the first new installments of the series in 13 years would keep the titular anti-heroes as high school students, but would feature them commenting on contemporary music acts.

Judge, who also created the popular series "King of the Hill," is working on the upcoming episodes of "Beavis," the newspaper said.
