Los Angeles -- A third song from Michael Jackson's new U.S. album "Michael" is being streamed free for a week in iTunes Ping, Apple's music-focused social network.
The song "Much Too Soon" was written at time of his iconic 1982 album "Thriller."
"Michael always liked the song and would pull it back out of the vaults for each subsequent album project but never found the right home for it; on the new album it finds its place as the bittersweet closing to the stellar collection," a release announcing the song's debut on Ping said Tuesday.
The song was written by Jackson, and produced by Jackson and John McClain.
David Campbell is featured on the strings.
"Michael" is to be released Dec. 14.

"The world was not ready to hear 'Hold My Hand' when it leaked a couple years ago," Akon said in a statement. "We were devastated about it. But its time has definitely come; now in its final state, it has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song. I'm so proud to have had the chance to work with Michael, one of my all-time idols."

Los Angeles -- Michael Jackson's mother has unveiled what she calls an unreleased song, but it's being dismissed as a remix.
Katherine Jackson told TMZ.com Friday she has posted a track called "Opis None" at her JacksonSecretVault Web site.
But Showbiz411.com said Saturday the piece is merely a remix of "Destiny," a1978 single by the Jacksons.
"Destiny" is credited on BMI's site to Michael and his brothers Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie. The original recording is owned by Sony, not by Katherine Jackson, Showbiz411 said.

London -- A bodyguard Michael Jackson employed in England says he donated sperm and could be the father of the late pop star's 8-year-old son Blanket.
Jackson died June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. Lethal amounts of anesthesia and sedatives were found in his system, and his doctor is awaiting trial on an involuntary manslaughter charge for allegedly administering the drugs that killed the entertainer.
British martial arts expert Matt Fiddes told The Sun newspaper he agreed to help Jackson in 2001 after the singer said he wanted an "athletic" child.
Fiddes claimed Jackson offered him nearly $800,000 for his sperm, but he said he turned the money down and donated it for free.
Blanket was born the following year, he added.
