Atlanta -- The man who won the first "Top Chef" competition has married an Atlanta woman he met as a result of the show, People magazine says.

Harold Dieterle and fellow foodie Meredith Lynn Davies were married in Atlanta and celebrated with a reception at the city's Capital City Country Club, People reported.
The pair met at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colo., which was part of the prize package from his "Top Chef" win, the magazine said Saturday.

"Top Chef," produced by the Bravo television network, pits top chefs against each other. A panel of celebrity chefs -- such as Tom Colicchio -- then judges the food productions.

Colicchio was unable to attend the ceremony, but Dieterle spoke to him about the wedding.

Hollywood -- British pop star Robbie Williams has married actress Ayda Field in a Beverley Hills, Calif., ceremony, a report says.

The pair was married at Williams' home in front of about 75 friends and family members, People magazine reported Sunday.

Williams, 36, and Field, 31, met in 2006.

"At last, Rob is happy," the singer's father, Pete Conway, said in a report. "That's what you want for your kids and this is the happiest I've seen him. Ayda is so beautiful and so delightful and so lovely and just so right for him. They are brilliant together."

Vancouver, British Columbia -- A Canadian couple who got married three times a week for several months as Tony and Tina are about to do it for real as Ashlee and Giovanni.

Ashlee Asconi and Giovanni Tempesta, both Vancouver residents, met in 2006 when she joined the cast of "Tony n' Tina's Wedding," the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. By that time, Tempesta was an experienced bridegroom, if not husband, having gone through 500 weddings to nine Tinas.

Tempesta said he knew two weeks -- and six weddings -- after they met that Asconi was the Tina for him.

"I've had a lot of practice," he said. "I know what I'm doing."

Asconi said all the fake weddings could make the real one tougher.

71st wedding anniversary approaches

Sorrento, Fla. -- A Florida couple with eight children, 26 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren are marking their 71st wedding anniversary.

Ramon and Gertrudis Cordero, ages 93 and 90, of Sorrento, Fla., married July 19, 1939, in the Puerto Rican village of Vega Alta. They are planning to celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary Saturday with a large party featuring more than 40 family members and close friends, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Thursday.

"He's not only my best friend, he is my everything," Gertrudis Cordero said in Spanish. "He's a wonderful husband, and he is a wonderful father for my children."
Ramon Cordero had similarly glowing words for his wife.

New York -- Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony married actress LaLa Vazquez in a lavish New York ceremony to be televised on a VH1 reality show.

The couple, who had been engaged since Christmas 2004, were united at a Manhattan gala featuring "marble columns and chandeliers," and a "red-themed celebration featuring red table cloths, centerpieces of red Ecuadorian roses, hundreds of candles and thousands of red roses hanging from the high ceiling," People magazine reported Saturday.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson performed the ceremony before an A-List crowd that included Justin Timberlake, LeBron James, Spike Lee and Ludacris.
