Lopez, Anthony create Kohl's clothing line

Menomonee Falls, Wis. -- Singers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are designing clothes and accessories for Kohl's, the U.S. department store chain said Thursday.

They will be the first celebrity couple to design collections simultaneously for one retailer, said

Kohl's Department Stores and Music Entertainment Sports Holdings, a division of LF USA.

Kohl's said it will be the exclusive U.S. provider and marketer of all Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony apparel, accessories and other merchandise, which will be available in Kohl's stores nationwide and at Kohls.com beginning next fall.

New York watches Puerto Rican Day parade

New York -- Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez were among the nearly 2 million people at New York's 53rd annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade, officials say.

The city's largest parade Sunday saw Anthony replace actor Osvaldo Rios as "international godfather" after Rios' domestic violence conviction against his girlfriend, the New York Daily News reported.

Some elected officials allegedly said they would not attend the parade unless Rios quit, which he did Tuesday.

New city statutes limit parades to five hours and shorten their routes by 25 percent in a move to save $3.1 million in police overtime and other city expenses, the newspaper said.
One reveler wasn't put off by the shortening of the parade, the Daily News said.

Los Angeles -- Ellen DeGeneres, Eva Longoria Parker and Kobe Bryant have been booked for the premiere of George Lopez's new U.S. chat show, TBS said Tuesday.

The late-night series is slated to debut Nov. 9, and will run weeknights from Monday through Thursday.

Also slated to appear on "Lopez Tonight" in its first few weeks on the air are Sandra Bullock, Ray Romano, Jamie Foxx, Jessica Alba, Charlie Sheen, Queen Latifah, Marc Anthony, Ted Danson, Andy Garcia, Larry David, Taylor Lautner, Oscar de la Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, Kelly Osbourne, Eva Mendes, Arsenio Hall and Kathy Griffin.

Additional guests will be announced in the weeks ahead, TBS said.

Anthony will mark Birthday with Hispanic Honour

Salsa singer Marc Anthony will have a birthday to remember this year (09) - he will be honoured by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute for his career achievements on the day he turns 41.

Jennifer Lopez's husband, who is of Puerto Rican heritage, will spend the evening of 16 September (09) in the company of the Latin community in Washington, D.C. when he will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lopez Learned from previous marriages

Jennifer Lopez is convinced her relationship with Marc Anthony will stand the test of time - because she has learned from the mistakes she made in her previous marriages.

The actress/singer first walked down the aisle with Cuban-born waiter Ojani Noa in 1997. They divorced after just a year of marriage and she went on to wed dancer Chris Judd in 2001 but that union also ended in divorce.

Lopez married Latin singer Anthony in 2004 and they are now parents to baby twins Max and Emme.

The 40 year old insists it takes a lot of effort to make the union work - but she's adamant her two failed marriages have helped her discover just how to keep her relationship with Anthony on track

New York -- Singer Marc Anthony has become a part owner of the NFL's Miami Dolphins, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel said.

Anthony, the godson of former NFL coach Jim Fassel and New York native, will partner with Miami owner Stephen M. Ross in his first venture into the world of sports.

"Being born and raised here in New York, East Harlem, you'd think Jets or Giants, but you were always aware of the Miami Dolphins and what (quarterback Dan) Marino was doing," Anthony said at a news conference in New York Tuesday, attended by his wife, fellow star singer and entertainer, Jennifer Lopez, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Marc Anthony books gigs in Colombia

Cartagena, Colombia -- Recording artist Marc Anthony will perform during a short concert tour in Colombia, featuring stops at the annual Manizales festival and in Cartagena.

Colombia Reports said the performer is expected to arrive in Colombia Thursday. It was unclear whether his singer-actress wife, Jennifer Lopez, planned to accompany him.

Anthony reportedly requested that a Playstation 3 game system and a nearly life-size statue of Jesus Christ be placed in his dressing rooms during his stay in the country.
