NHL: San Jose 5, Pittsburgh 0

San Jose, Calif. -- San Jose goaltender Evgeni Nabokov stopped all 27 shots Saturday as the Sharks shut out the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-0.

Nabokov earned his second shutout of the year while sparking the Sharks to their seventh win in eight games in a lop-sided affair in which Joe Pavelski, Dan Boyle and Manny Malhotra each notched a goal and an assist.

The Sharks' other goals came from Dany Heatley and Jamie McGinn.

San Jose's stifling defense kept Penguins star Sidney Crosby from scoring in the fourth straight game Crosby has gone without a point.
