Madonna to open fitness center in Moscow Fri, 10/12/2010 - 11:12 by Rakhi New York -- The second location of pop star Madonna's Hard Candy fitness center chain will be in Moscow, the gym's representatives said Thursday. Madonna, in partnership with her manager Guy Oseary and Mark Mastrov, chairman of New Evolution Ventures, said the Moscow location is expected to open in mid-March. The new facility will be "a beautifully designed and unique 35,000-square-foot space located near Red Square," they said in a news release. It will also include a partnership with Irina Razumova, founder of the Russian franchise Planet Fitness. News said Friday. The singer adopted her two youngest children from the African nation and co-founded the charity Raising Malawi. Although she offered the villagers an estimated $115,000 in compensation for their land and to help them resettle elsewhere, the villagers are refusing to move, E! News said.
