NHL: Dallas 6, Phoenix 3

Dallas -- Loui Eriksson and Brad Richards both scored twice Friday and the Dallas Stars continued their offensive exploits with a 6-3 victory over Phoenix.

The Stars have won their last three games, scoring 15 goals in the process.

Dallas had not had more than one power-play goal in any game this season, but produced four of them against the Coyotes. The Stars chased goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, who made his 200th appearance for Phoenix.

Eriksson scored the only first-period goal but Richards had two goals in the first 5:21 of the second to send Bryzgalov to the bench. Bryzgalov allowed three goals on 18 shots.

NHL: Minnesota 3, Dallas 2

St. Paul, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild notched its third win in four games Saturday, edging the Dallas Stars 3-2.

Defenseman Marek Zidlicky had a goal and an assist for the Wild, while Cal Clutterbuck and Mikko Koivu scored goals to back the 19-save goaltending of Niklas Backstrom in the win.

The Stars, meanwhile, dropped their fourth game in five. Dallas was led by Loui Eriksson, who scored twice in the loss.

The Wild set the tone 9:46 into the game while shorthanded when Clutterbuck scored, followed seven minutes later by Koivu's goal.

Eriksson's second marker of the second period tied it for Dallas, but Zidlicky's tally put the Wild on top to stay with 1:48 to go in the period.

NHL: Dallas 4, St. Louis 1

St. Louis-- Marty Turco made 27 saves to lead Dallas to a 4-1 win over St. Louis Saturday.

Loui Eriksson tallied a goal and an assist for the Stars, who have yet to lose in regulation on the road this season.

Dallas scored a pair of goals in the second period and expanded its lead to 3-0 in the third when Tom Wandell scored at 4:48. Brian Sutherby added a goal midway through the period to put the Stars ahead 4-0.

Alex Pietrangelo scored the Blues' only goal and the first of his NHL career with 3:50 left to play.

Dallas outshot St. Louis 31-28, but the Blues managed just five shots in the second period.
