Popular pop star Lady Gaga has fallen victim to a U.S. hacker group that broke into her United Kingdom website and stole thousands of her fans’ personal details, according to multiple online published reports.

Cookie Monster wants to host 'SNL'

New York -- Cookie Monster, the hairy blue monster from the U.S. children's TV program "Sesame Street," says in a new video he wants to be a host on "Saturday Night Live."

Cookie's audition clip for the long-running sketch comedy series shows the public television puppet telling jokes in a monologue, reading the fake news and lampooning pop-culture personalities such as Lady Gaga. He also urges viewers to join his Facebook campaign to get "SNL's" producers to book him as a guest host.

As of Wednesday night, the video had been viewed more than 350,000 times on YouTube.

Hartford, Conn. -- A Connecticut newspaper is warning readers of the dangers involved with emulating Lady Gaga's famous meat dress as a Halloween costume.

The Hartford (Conn.) Courant said wearing raw meat like the pop singer did at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards can lead to infections including campylobacteriosis, which can bring about fever, muscle ache, diarrhea, dysentery and other symptoms.

The newspaper said wearing a meat dress, which many experts have predicted to be a popular costume this year, can also lead to toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that can lead to brain damage or death among those with weak immune systems.
